Growing up in historic Ellicott City, surrounded by whimsical stores like The Forget-Me-Not Factory, I discovered the magic of music and art at a young age. While I began illustrating musically inspired artwork during my teenage years, I honed my style and voice as a musically inspired artist during my graduate career while studying graphic design at George Mason University. My master’s capstone project, Ode to Rock: Design for Music Appreciation, exhibited a collection of my musically inspired poster designs and stylized portraits featuring some of my favorite musicians as well as a focus on lyrics that provoked thought and ultimately, a desire to create. Below are some of my musically inspired pieces I designed during gradschool and beyond.
